  Tom and I worked together for a few sessions. Each session, was essentially me giving him an idea of what I wanted. I gave Tom (the President) a total of $2,600 with hopes of getting a small business loan for my company. During this time, I wrote my own business plan, executive summary and achieved an official LLC with little to no guidance from Tom. After a few months of being unable to connect with Tom, I decided to not pursue the loan. When asked to receive a partial refund for the services Tom did not provide, I was given nothing but excuses. Tom promised to consult his partner to discuss the potential however, he proceeded to not respond for the next three months. Upon finally getting in touch with him, he insisted that he could not provide a refund even for the services he DID NOT provide. To make a, what could be an even longer story short, I paid Tom $2,600 for a service that never came to be. He has frequently not responded when confronted with this issue and I'm sad to report that I will never see a dime of the money that I had given Tom for a service left unfulfilled. When I first met Tom, things seemed very promising. My first impression of Tom was nothing but positive however, this slick talking businessman quickly showed that he merely wanted cash up front so that this transaction could not be traced. It's an unfortunate yet eye opening experience and I will not make this mistake again.
