  Buyer chose this company to manage the closing. Terrible service, very unorganized. Closing took 2 weeks, they requested wire instructions for transfer of funds, which we provided, but then cut a check which took 12 days to come in the mail! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO CLOSE YOUR PROPERTY. They also kept requesting that paperwork was re-signed and changed. Not professional. EDIT UPDATE: So per the owner's response. I may live in Richmond, but own properties elsewhere. So instead of trying to dis-associate my review for your company, how about apologizing and taking ownership of my points. I have bought and sold MANY properties in the state of Virginia and they don't take that long. My legal counsel also had very unprofessional interactions with your receptionist as well as your closing person. You should have also given me another opportunity to take my complaint offline - which only shows that you have no idea how to respond to customer complaints, only to reiterate my unprofessional and unorganized argument.

  Breanoh, We are so sorry that you had this experience. I would like to address each of your concerns directly. A closing in 2 weeks is industry standard, this is a standard that we hold ourselves to religiously, even in these current times of unprecedented high demand in the housing market. As for your proceeds go we do distribute as soon as we possibly can, and we do not send checks via snail mail, so I honestly cannot understand why this would have been the case. Wiring money is much easier and time effective for us and this is our preferred method of disbursing. I would also like to state that we do not do any volume of business in the greater Richmond area, which is where it seems that you are located.

  The person who purchased my home used this group for the closing. They were disorganized and the left hand didn’t seem to know what the right was doing. Even though the had over 6 weeks to prepare for closing they waited until the last minute to get paperwork together and almost caused the closing to be delayed. Then they almost sent the closing costs through the mail instead of wiring it as requested. Finally, I had to pay an extra wiring fee because their lack of organization meant they owed me money. If you want a smooth closing with a professional group I suggest you go else where.

  I am so sorry that you had a bad experience, however, I can assure you that both hands knew what the other were doing. Due to technical difficulties with our fax machine we encountered trouble obtaining an updated payoff, which you nor your agent assisted us with when we requested it, normally we don't ask for assistance but these circumstances were definitely out of the normal. Your payoff was made timely and you received all the monies that were owed to you. No extra fees were charged to you, in fact we absorbed those fees to try and correct the issue and show our diligence in doing so. May I also add that we had the closing documents 7 days before closing and all was done in a timely manner. There was no last minute anything other than getting an updated payoff after discovering you had made an additional payment to the loan.
