  I've been banking with academy Bank for about 8 years now. They've always been on top of it. I've gotten alerts for fraud purchases. I've had to get three different cards because of their alerts and they were able to stop transactions from happening. everybody down there knows me, so if I call the bank, they know immediately who it is, which is very convenient. I have recommended Academy Bank to both friends and family. So much so, I should get a kickback. I'll keep banking with Academy Bank for years to come. I highly recommend Academy Bank. Brian Parks.

  Last Friday (2/5/22) my accounts were hacked and all of money was transferred out of my accounts. Matthew Diehl(manager) He said they could see that the wire transfer was going to an account outside of the United States, that the money had not already been completely transferred and that the fraud department can and will step in and stop the transfer. He guaranteed me that I will get my money back into my account, and that it should be back in my account by the next day. He reinsured me several times that I will get my money back. He also said that if the money did end up getting transferred to the off shore account that my money is protected by the bank and that it might take a couple of days but no matter what I will get my money back. I asked him if there was anything else I should do, is there paperwork to fill out or should I contact the fraud department myself. He told me that there was nothing I needed to do and that himself and the fraud department where on top of the situation and not to worry. I trusted him and everything he told me. After 4 days I FINALLY heard from the fraud department and I was told that I will never get my money back… Do not trust Matthew Diehl not Academy Bank… Your money is safer under your mattress rather than in the hands of Academy Bank..
