  Update: After over 7 months, Cenlar managing my Academy Mortgage loan has *STILL* not issued my Deed of Reconveyance. Sold my loan to Freddie Mac. Outsourced my loan servicing to Cenlar FSB in Ewing, New Jersey (Check out their reviews: absolutely terrible; may be found on Google Maps at Cenlar FSB, 425 Phillips Blvd, Ewing Township, NJ 08618). I caught (not Academy Mortgage) that a mortgage payment was misapplied, and I called to resolve the problem. Instead of reversing only 1 payment, 3 payments were reversed, and one reversal of $1,236.59 was made for no reason whatsoever--so I somehow owe $1236.59 additional for no reason. My loan balance actually increased after having made payments! I spent over 6 hours by phone trying to rectify the situation, and it has still not been rectified. After making additional payments, there is now way to verify from which account the moneys are drawing: not even the e-mail confirmation offers insight. I also qualified to have my PMI removed 5 months ago. I made the request on paper (e-mail was not sufficient). Not only has the PMI not been removed, but PMI was increased. When I requested my loan pay-off balance, the e-mail response was that an additional fee could be incurred to be provided with the pay-off.

  Jared was awesome! I initially went with a different mortgage company and Jared kept calling and offering better deals that got my original company to drop their rate and when my company could no longer match the amazing rate Jared offered I switched to Academy. Jared was super helpful and informative as I was brand new to the process. He kept in constant communication and provide frequent updates to let me know how the process was going. Will definitely be calling Jared next time I need home financing.
