We had an extremely positive experience working with Vinnie on a cash out refinance. Even in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, when nearly all of the paperwork needed to be completed virtually, Vinnie and his staff were great - quick, informative, efficient. We closed within 5 weeks. When we first started working with Vinnie, we were hoping to move. He clearly and concisely walked us through our different monthly payment scenarios, based on purchase price, taxes and money down. We ultimately decided to stay put and expand, and he was just as helpful reviewing the cash out refi terms. Working with Academy was a nice change from my previous mortgage experiences with a big bank and a credit union, where I had to chase down loan officers for answers. John B. at Academy Mortgage was amazingly helpful! We recently refinanced our mortgage and everything went incredibly smoothly. Originally we weren't sure if we wanted to look for a new house or do a cash out refinance. It took a literally a year for us to make our decision and John never once pressured us to do anything. He stuck beside us and provided us with all the information he possibly could whenever we requested it so that we could make the decision that was right for us, not him. I have already recommended him to others and I will continue to do so.
