      Do not do business with this company unless you want to become a victim of identity theft and fraud. I went into the location to cash a check and buy a money order. The rep signed me up for something called a Flare account without my knowledge. I cashed my payroll checks with Ace all the time in my teen years and thought the rep was asking for my social security number to access my old membership account with Ace. No, she was setting up a debit card account without my permission! Now, I’m afraid that she’s used my information to obtain other credit products/services. The only reason I found out that this card she handed me was not some prepaid gift card was because I incurred a $10 monthly fee on it. When I called to pay the fee and close the account, I was told that there was an additional $15 fee to close the account. I’m still waiting to see what overdraft charges (if any) I will incur - probably $25-$35. Stay away from Ace Cash Express. I’m contacting the corporate office for Ace right now. A simple visit to this business has turned into a financial nightmare. Deceptive business practices and misleading representations and representatives abound.
