  Complete crooks. Signed a contract in January of 2021, which included starting the sale of our previous home within 75 days of signing the contract. We were told numerous times that Adams was going to honor their contract no matter what, but they told us that because of permitting delays it was taking longer than expected. As of March 2022, the house was still not completed and then Adams did exactly what they said they wouldn't do. They informed us by email that we must either cancel our contract or they would be raising the price by $45,000. I tried to get answers about where in the contract they could cancel or increase the price this far along. They keep giving me the run around on the contract saying it was this or that. I would have to tell them to read the whole sentence. When proven wrong they would change to a different part of the contract. They decided that the reason they were going with is for shortages. Again I asked for some kind of proof of this and Kristi Worley (Sales Manager) and Mark Terlep (General Manager) refused to provide any details and became hostile during the conversation. At one point I was told by Mark that I was the only person out of the 26 contracts they did this to, that was being difficult and basically, if I didn't like it then just go find a lawyer. We ended up having to sign the cancelation. I then saw they relisted the house a few days later and that they will have that house completed as of June with a move-in date for August. Hmmm, that's weird what happened to the shortage???? They do not honor contracts. DO NOT TRUST ADAMS HOMES!

  This is specific to the Sebastian location. We stopped by the model, cash in hand ready to buy or begin building. The agent answered the door. Said she was in a meeting and that was ok. We asked when we could come back and she said - I’m leaving early today. We asked for material and described the pre construction design we saw the day before and she said she did not know what we were talking about. Told her they were their homes because of the signs posted and there were two houses side-by-side they were building and still did not seem to know what we were talking about. Visiting from another state and limited time but she said email me and I’ll set up an appointment. Could not even say “I am here tomorrow or someone is here tomorrow, is there a good time for you?” She was rude, not wanting to even be bothered to give us material. Made it seem as though we were wasting her time.
