Very informative and complete explanation, service is good and polite. To be honest, i think that Bill is a highly reliable CFP and will stay with him to manage my financial plan. To be honest it feels good when i have any kind of doubt and have all the answers to anything i need on the matter, highly recommend it.

Requested fee-only planning from Bill Holiday. Instructed him that I wanted to manage our modest retirement account with low fee ETFs. Only wanted to employ him to set up our portfolio. He advised we invest in alternative investments--1/3 of our entire retirement portfolio. He provided no prospectus nor advised us as to the unique character of these investments. Mr Holiday took a commission from the sale of these investments--although he told us he would never take a sales commission. We've lost a large part of these investments and are unable to liquidate the remainder. He was dishonest and professionally unethical. I suppose it was our fault that we trusted him. I advise you never to use him or his firm.

This is not a true review. I expect Google will take it down. Slander, especially if it impacts a company's business, should not be allowed - it should not be legal. AIO Financial is a member of NAPFA. We are, and always have been, fee-only advisors. We do not get commissions nor do we sell any financial products. We are completely unbiased because we are solely compensated by our clients. As fee-only advisors, held to a fiduciary standard, there is no benefit to us to steer clients into a portfolio that is not appropriate for them. Investments do have the risk of loss (they do change value). That is part of investing. All of the investments we use, and have used, do provide a prospectus. For client portfolios, we primarily use Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) and mutual funds unless a client requests something else. We provide diversified portfolios and rebalance them regularly. We do not recommend any alternative investments, that are not ETFs or mutual funds, to any clients unless they are requested by our client. We offer ongoing service, an index investment course, an subscription community (with a forum and live zoom calls), and one-time meetings. We work with most of our clients on an ongoing basis. We meet regularly throughout the year and keep up on all of their financial goals. This allows us to make adjustments to their financial plan (including investments) and address their changing needs. There are limitations to brief financial consulting engagements - investments that were requested years ago may not be appropriate years later. Any financial plan should be reviewed and adjusted. We are comprehensive financial advisors and work with clients on areas of: investing, retirement planning, taxes, insurance, and estate planning. As advisors, education is a principle job of ours. We educate clients on their retirement plan (their goals and obstacles), insurance (is their coverage appropriate for their situation), estate plan (are their objectives being met), taxes (are they making the best decisions to minimize their long-term taxes), and investments. The reason many people come to us is so that we can support them with their investments. We take that responsibility very seriously. We determine their time horizon and risk tolerance to determine the portfolio that is most appropriate for them. Again, these portfolios are primarily constructed of ETFs and mutual funds. Portfolios (and investments) do change in value over time and we discuss the risk/return trade off - and the pros and cons of different portfolios. We work hard to educate our clients and put them in a portfolio that meets their needs. We work hard to educate our clients about the investments they are getting into. Many of our clients have an interest in Sustainable, Responsible, Impact Investing (SRI) or Environments, Social, Governance (ESG) investing - and are very interested in the details of the investments they have. We do explain what Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and mutual funds are because that is what we use. In the rare case where a client is interested in alternative investments that are not ETFs or mutual funds - we do answer any questions and explain the nature of the investments. Sincerely Bill Holliday, CFP®, AIF®, CSRIC™ 520-325-0769 [email protected]
