  Zelle is a joke called in 5 times every time someone says it should just work fine now. Yea right, they are trained to elude you not to help you. Then when you put them on the spot and ask questions regarding their policy. They get defensive, asked them to close my account. Never have I ever heard that you HAVE TO HAVE a checking to be able to make payments to a loan. I don’t mind paying my loan, but banking with this institution is a big NO. However they won’t give you the option to close your accounts. Smh people these days all for profit no customer service. Avoid them banks are better!!

  Their call tree is unclear and convoluted, and you are unable to speak to a representative until you pick an option that is probably incorrect because all options are not given. After you wait 15 minutes to finally speak to someone, they tell you that you have the wrong department but they have a new phone number for you to call. They apparently don't transfer you to the write department. The woman was super pleasant but seriously. The system is jacked up. I got my auto loan through them and in order to pay it I have to transfer them money to a checking account they opened in my name. Then go in and transfer that money to the loan to make said payment. It's all redundant and backwards. I have banked with Navy Fed and USAA for over 20 years now and thanks but I would never pick Air Academy. I'm looking to see how fast I can move my loan because this company is awful to work with.
