      Mike Rohde at Altitude has been an absolute dream to work with! When we bought our first house, we ran into some speed bumps and inconveniences, and I was expecting things to be more complicated this time around.       Almost the first thing I thought of when interest rates dropped at the beginning of COVID was hmm maybe this will be a great time to refinance. I naïvely thought this process would be simple and straightforward if we just used the company that we had been using to service our loan Ie NewRez. This was a disaster, after assuring us that we got the absolute lowest interest rate and completing repairs recommended by the appraiser they dropped the application… we got a call asking why we left the process and then had to restart the process again. Many many credit checks and signed rate lock documents later and … we were ghosted again! Ugh I should have known that we should have just gone with Phaedra at Altitude home loans again. It’s a mere month later we just got confirmation that our loan has been completed at the interest rate promised by Newrez before they ghosted us for the second time. Thanks for making this process so easy!
