Peggy and the staff at this branch are very helpful and work very hard to satisfy the needs of their business clients. It is a bit of a drive for us but well worth it. Amerantbank charged me a double fee for wire transfer and is not responsible. In addition, an agent incorrectly indicated the minimum amount that I should have in the account and then they charged me extra money for maintenance fee. I have been harmed and the bank is not responsible. I have wasted the entire month of March calling almost daily with no answer. They play games with me, distract me with questions, and then say the case is on hold. I have already waited a long time and I will have to take this case to other instances in view of the bank's negligence
