      These people assume risk on your behalf and without your knowledge. I am selling a property and was in a sales contract being brokered by this company. They let everyone think the buyer put earnest money in escrow to initiate this deal. The buyer never put any money anywhere - at all. They pulled out of the deal a day after we were supposed to close, after my waiting 30 days, and forfeited escrow. The issue is - thanks to American Land Title the escrow is completely empty. Meanwhile I packed up my whole house and made plans to be 3 states away this summer and now I'm stuck trying to sell still. Be smart, don't use this title company. If you do, check them with a lie detector - they are neglegent and practically fraudulent.
