      Javier was a true godsend! As a first time buyer, there was so much I didn’t know, and he took the time to explain everything in detail - spent an hour and half with me before I even decided to officially apply with American Portfolio Mortgage. His service and attentiveness far outshined the two other lenders I had preapprovals from - in fact they didn’t even follow up to check in until well after I was already under contract. American Portfolio Mortgage was able to provide me with the right amount of funding and the type of loan I was seeking. Through every step, Javier was proactive in letting me know what to expect, walked me through everything that was needed, and made sure I knew he was available any time for questions. I successfully got to the closing table on time without a hitch, and walked out of the closing agent’s office after one hour with the keys to my dream home. I could not be happier or more grateful for what Javier and the American Portfolio Mortgage team did for me.

      I highly recommend you keep looking elsewhere if you're here to see if American Portfolio is a company worth working with. The communication is horrible, follow up is even worse. After signing with them my payments went up in less than 60 days because of an "error". Completely unprofessional once you've signed on with them. **DO NOT USE**

      Charles Silva is one of best loan officers there is in this business! He was always prompt and considerate throughout me and my husbands process as first time home buyers! He explained everything in full detail and he still answers our questions anytime we need him! He dedicated his full attention towards getting our home! The process was smooth and exciting! I’ve met other lenders but he is awesome 👏🏾 no one like him!
