  We were greated with Courtesy and friendliness, our banker made it comfortable and effortless in opening our new account with America Bank.   I have tried more than a few times to fulfill my dream of homeownership. Running into so many roadblocks along the way. I take responsibility for a lot if the blocks but there were some things that went beyond my control. I went under contract around the end of November 2021, we were pushing for a Closing before Christmas. Well folks it's been a long time since Christmas. I was in underwriting for months, not getting anywhere with my lender. The sellers weren't having any more of the back and forth, repeatedly changing the closing dates, the multitude of explanations and excuses. I was ready to call it quits. I felt like owning a home just wasn't in the cards for me. So I did what anyone would do. I went to Atlantic City and had a ball! Came back and per my realtor Maranda Moore, reached out to Clay Hadsock with Ameris Bank. I will admit, I did not have a lot a confidence in this working out but after speaking with Clay I did have hope. Clay and his team were very reassuring and professional. They told us exactly what we needed to provide, time line to provide, and consequences! I am now a homeowner. There aren't any words in my vocabulary that can express what this means to me. I am blessed to have been connected with Clay and Ameris Bank. I would work with Ameris again and I highly recommend them to anyone needing a good lender. Thank you.
