  Sylvia Head-Gallegos shared: Purchased my mother's residence through a Foreclosure while I was a tenant... I contacted John Daniels, REO Broker with Broadmoor Realty, and was told that I was going to be evicted... However, there was never a service of the WRIT OF POSSESSION during the time that I was preparing to relocate... Apparently, an unidentified person broke in and changed the deadbolt on the front door and removed the new digital thermostat that I had installed! Due to the break in, I waited for a couple of days so that my husband could assist me, with the packing, moving and cleanup. Returning a couple of days later, +- October 20, 2018, I was shocked when I returned to the TOTAL disappearance of the entire contents of the house, including the hot tub on the patio, the attic and the outbuildings!!! Stunned, I contacted the REO Broker and he denied knowing anything about the clearing of the contents because the contents were never put on the curb as the laws of Georgia requires. I didn't bother making a police report due to the lack of information and non-existent cooperation so I tried to move forward and away from the heart breaking trauma... Until December 2019, when I saw my hot tub listed for sale on Facebook!!! Since I am still within Georgia's Statute of Limitations, I am going to pursue my rights for the compensation for the damages and report the criminal trespassing, burglary and theft by conversion! Also, by making a police report, I am able to file the losses on my USAA Rental Insurance within 6 years of the incident... Which I plan to do after the criminal and civil action are disposed of!!!
