      Was very excited to get my marriage certificate application notarized after work (which for Alabama only requires a notarized signature) & Amscot as a matter of policy won't notarize them. This really affected my plans as I'm not off work during "banking hours" & had to scramble to find another evening notary. It honestly makes no sense why they can't sign that you presented an ID & signed something.

      On thursday June 17th at around 8 am , I came into this establishment to cash my stimulus check and the person helping was named James or Jason - something like that. Not only did it take and extra thirty minutes to cash my check but he counted the amount wrong. I’ve worked in the financial industry for thirty years , you should be counting money from 100s to the lowest domination. The associate told me he will be counting my money from 20s to the 50s then 100s and smaller bills last. When I tell him that he should be counting from highest to low , he tells me this is how he does it and how he will do it. I’m disappointed.
