  My family and I have been searching for a home in the Chicago area this past year. Andy has been super informative, kind, and helpful to work with. We may be moving to another state where he isn't licensed, so we may not end up getting a loan with him. But I'm still very thankful for the service he provided.

  2nd mortgage with Andy O Brien > he's an A+ lender! Where the other LO said my wife and I need to show tax returns and income, you shared your experience, found the rules the other guy missed, and stated we only needed my wife's income and filings alone. We would have been denied in two minutes of it weren't for you! When the other guy said we needed two years returns as we are both self employed, you pulled out your magic wand once again and confidently pushed the rare rule stating we only had to show one year filing when a Dr. Is involved. There were a lot of challenges, but you always had an answer provided by the Fannie May quasi govt entity that makes the rules. Your speed in answering evidences that you've read that "huge rule-Bible" inside and out many times. When the glitch came, you were right on top of it and explained what we needed to do in simple terms - couldn't have been completed without you. That glitch would have meant a denied loan for another LO, but not with the Andy O'Brien Mortgage Team! Due to your expert knowledge And experience, we made it into our home in 30 days on time and your idea of a $7k seller credit was awesome! Came in handy for sure. Now I live in a beautiful white picket fenced home across the street from my first graders A+ rated Naperville school. Priceless... We can all wake up 15 minutes later since we no longer need to catch the bus, just walk right across the street and there we are! Can't thank enough of everyone on your team, especially Jennette and Fitni! I didn't wait more than 40 second for any reply from you guys, and I appreciated it that you made time for me at each phone call. And of course - you Andy pushing things through with your vast knowledge and experience to wiggle within the system and ask us the unique questions that provided answers that you could take to the underwriter for another successful ontime close. You're system is a beautifully well oiled machine. Lastly, thanks for keeping all of us (including the other side) always informed of the process and following up when tasks were complete.   Our experience with Andy O'Brien and his team at Neighborhood Loans was very good in all respects. Andy knows the lending business inside and out, and he was always willing to answer all our questions about the process. Andy is particularly good at explaining sometimes confusing charges, the necessary paperwork, and giving accurate estimates for monthly payments, etc. I would recommend working with Andy and his team at Neighborhood Loans for anyone's home financing needs.They are professional, personable, and really expert at what they do.
