  I've banked here for almost 8 years. They are fair and friendly. I've had no bad experiences, nor have I heard of any.

  So many times I have had problems with this bank... Starting with Shutting off my debit card a number of times without any warning for one reason or another including being flagged as someone having possibly hacked accounts And them suspecting fraudulent activity From on one purchases and instead of inquiring or just temporarily shutting it down sent me new debit cards after shutting it down so I would have no card in the meantime And no notice several Instances of Not approving things that had been purchased online that were completely legitimate and having to jump through hoops to get approved And even getting a fraudulent alert recently that I confirmed woz legitimate and refusing to unlock the account and the frosting on the cake waas when they cancelled my recent debit card and send me a new one without advising me but when they shut off The card I had it never fully cancelled and I was able to keep using a card that their supposedly shut down And I never got the new card they say they shipped to me and ended up who knows where so Talk about having question genoble fraudulent activity I shouldn't have been able to use a card that they shut down and send me a new 1 for. Then they decided to close out my 2nd checking account I had with them because very put a deposit into the wrong account so a withdrawal woz made making that count in the negative because of their screw up so they literally took the money out of my other account and closed it without my permission or asking so what's just say very questionable activity and will never recommend After having business account there for several years

  We have had personal and business accounts for years. Mobile deposit works great. Fraud detection and prevention has stopped attempts on our accounts. The staff are always friendly and make that extra effort. If you're looking for a small, local bank, Androscoggin Bank is it.
