  I started with Annex about 12 years ago when I was a teenager. When I sat down for my appointment I specifically said I wanted mutual funds that averaged 13% growth over the life of the fund. I was told that there are no mutual funds like that, and the advisor made some recommendations, which I followed. He never asked me about my risk tolerance. 2 years ago I sat down for another appointment to review my investments with my Annex advisor, and said again that we wanted something that averaged 13% over the life of the fund, and again we were told that that doesn't really exist anymore. A year later we switched to a different company, and are currently invested in funds that have averaged at least 13% per year over the life of the fund. Those funds were out there, they just weren't discussed for some reason by my advisor at Annex. I'm still not sure why.
