They do a great job with my tax return. I will use them again in the future.

Double billed me a year later. Had it paid in full and they had originally noted on my tax return it was paid. They charge for any minor thing, but what was my time worth digging up that info? Also sent irrelevant info that didn't apply to me and always gave cute - smart alec responses without answering my questions. Worst accountant I 've had in 50 years! Said they no longer wanted my business, but I had moved on to someone else.

We are quite disappointed with the service we received from Apel. We provided all the information, and a mistake was made. They refused to work with us to rectify their mistake, ignored our request for access to our document in their "vault", and stopped responding to emails. I'd be cautious working with this firm. It ended up costing us nearly $1000 in penalties, interest, and fees for another firm to correct the error. Proceed with caution.
