One of the worst banks in Elmont. I went there to get a cash advance of my debit card. Every single time with the exception of the first two times I went there, I'm treated like some sort of criminal scammer. I give them my debit card and enhanced NYS driver's license and they always look lost and confused. The teller has no idea what to do, and then they ask me several questions as if I haven't provided them with a valid debit card and driver's license. I've asked in the past, why am I suddenly getting such a hard time. I've been here multiple times, doing the exact same thing, with exact same license and USAA debit card. Today they said my NYS Enhanced Driver's License wasn't enough!?!? What? First of all, I've never had to do that in the same bank, as recent as 4 months ago. Secondly, I can enter another country with that ID. I give them a second debit card, which they asked for, they were still perplexed. I went want to believe it isn't racist because I'm a black man, and most of the employees I encounter are black, but I find it hard to believe that if a young white man, professionally dressed, as I usually am as an educator, would he be routinely given an even greater hard time, each time he entered? I think not.
