      Loved my time with the Guard, all 20 years of it. Even if you just do a single enlistment though, you'll be a better person for it. It's never a bad time to give back to your country, and military service is a great way to do it. SFC Thurston is a terrific soldier and an excellent recruiter who will work hard to fit you into a speciality that you qualify for, and he's an expert at navigating the sometimes slow and baffling process. Even if you aren't 100% sure about joining a military organization - even if you're just curious - take 30 minutes and talk with SFC Thurston. There's nothing to lose, and lots to gain!

      I reached out to a recruiter Ssg Rich and we were supposed to talk. However something came up and I called him and left a voice mail telling him I needed to explain it and talk to him when he got a chance. Rather than calling me back and hearing me out, he flat-out threw me away like nothing and blocked me on everything. Not happy at all, very unprofessional and inappropriate and unnecessary. I don't recommend joining personally , if you want to join the military go with Massachusetts card or better yet the actual real full military lol

      I worked with SFC Thurston for over a year and he represents the Guard and his Soldier very well. He upholds the Army values when recruiting soldiers into the Guard, and has a great knowledge of what it takes to get candidates into the military. SFC Thurston has a great attitude no matter the situation.
