I was experiencing difficulty with my debit card, called and spoke with someone that told me several recent purchases were being held due to unusual activity on the card. After verifying purchases, and 2 that I did not recognize, the card was canceled and another is on its way. I am very glad that this bank is vigilant.

Stay clear of Arvest, and this branch, in particular. It is terribly managed. Tried to cash a check from a current Arvest customer. 1. They were rude. 2. They automatically took a fee out of said check because the person cashing the check didn’t have an account through Arvest. 3. They didn’t notify the check cashed that they had taken money out. They was surprised when the cash was light. I PROMISE I will never an account through Arvest. In fact I will tell this story to everyone who will listen. Every word that leaves my mouth for the rest of my life concerning Arvest will be negative.

I recently opened a cd to help build credit history. Arvest stopped auto pay on the last payment. When I noticed and called them they took a payment and closed the account costing me 52 points credit score. I have called to speak to anyone as to why they would do this, they simply pass me off. I hope this review prevents others from making my mistake and using Arvest.
