      I don’t leave reviews, hardly ever, Especially when negative because benefit of the doubt and all that — but this is the biggest joke of a credit union I’ve experienced. After fraud occurred on our account five years ago and less than ideal handling we transferred our joint account elsewhere. My husband decided to keep his personal due to it being his longest established credit line and wanted to keep that for obvious credit score reasons. Fraud once again occurred on his account and was handled horribly. Errors from staff made it obvious we would be better off leaving and taking the hit. Over the past six months+ of attempting to get the account shut down we can not get rid of this institution. Either everyone who has worked with us to close it is incompetent or their standard practice is to hold your account hostage. We have been into branches multiple times to shut it down. Yet every month we receive dormant account notices with new fees owed. *face palm* it’s dormant because it’s *supposed* to be closed. Phone calls to get it handled post visits are pointless. DO NOT trust your finances to a credit union that can’t do the basic tasks. If I could go back in time and advise myself elsewhere I would.
