My checking account went into the negative for $15 around the same time I contracted Covid. That was October. I have severe complications and haven't been able to work buy I have kept in touch with this bank, because I wanted to pay off whenever I could return to work which is this month on the 10th I hope. The bank added their charges over time it was $385 from the original $15 they made no effort to help due to Covid. On New Years I was fortunate to see a deposit made for the entire amount that a friend called to tell me they paid it for me. Turns out Associated Bank said it was 20 minutes too late the deposits were sent back. My account has been sent to collections. I had it paid and they wouldn't take the money. Truly, this was a terrible thing yet it's life right? No, that bank could have accepted the deposits This is their corporate location wherever that is. In closing, the bank mentioned reduced the fees by $200, no deposit was out in again. And I still owe $158. Over a $15 overdraft. And that nsf I deserved. No Covid provisions in place right now, a lot of people may face financial ruin. Finally recovered only to find Associated Bank has me in collections. For the entire amount $358. I’m definitely talking this out.
