      I have been a member of Affinity Plus since 1992--and I am a life-timer with credit unions. Beyond the ordinary stellar services I've had from Affinity, I've had car loans (best interest rates), a bridge loan (between buying a new home and selling another--the "joy" of owning 2 homes), free checks, free checking (actually being paid for doing my business there), a great rate on a Money Market account, and countless other services. I always get the answers I need, with a smile. I never need to wonder of my credit union is selling lists of names and info to outside interests like most of the banks have been doing. The only criticism I have is the wait when I call, but I do appreciate the option of having a representative return my call when my place in the queue comes up. When I hear friends tell their horror stories about their banks, I remember why I'm a confirmed credit union loyalist.
