They were twice as expensive as the neighboring notaries, but they were the only one who had a notary in on a Friday afternoon in that area. So I went in for the first (and only) time to notarize a standard US Coast Guard bill of sale. I've done hundreds of these but my normal notary was out the way. The document was properly filled out, the notary didn't bother to read it, and snippily asked questions that were already typed in. Unsatisfied with my responses "it is written on there" and "you have everything you need right there, please read it”. She refused to notarize it because she didn't understand what I was selling, nor the form being used. So I drove to Kenner and had a pleasant experience with a kind professional. I'm sure they do a fine job on whatever it is they do besides being a notary. I'm sure normally they are very kind and respectful people. I won't go in there again.
