Back in May 2020 I made a big mistake, followed by a horrible experience in working with a national extremely fast loan provider for a home purchase. Long story short that was a lost opportunity to forget and take this as a dire warning. In December 2020, my wife contacted a real estate broker representing the Maple Valley, WA area. The agent had referred us to Axia Home Loans and to contact the senior loan officer Frank Hinkley located out of the Bellevue, WA area. From the moment Frank answered my call, I knew he was going to look after my interests in buying a home. Frank immediately and/or very timely answered phone calls, text messages and emails. Several times, Frank scheduled Zoom conference calls to make sure my wife and I understood the process. He provided exact details of the loan types, costs, expected out-of-pocket and so on. Frank was exact to the cent. His estimates are very close to exact. Frank is that good! This is so important as many mortgage lenders provide estimates that are way, way off from reality. I also got a not good, but GREAT interest rate because Frank watches the market every day of the week. He watched for an opportunity then locked in quickly. We also closed on time even during this pandemic! My understanding is that Axia Home Loans represents several states in the country.
