I love my bank! I've been with BoC since 2004. They've always been friendly, kind and we've gotten to know each other over the years. Any time I've had a "situation" they have solved it in minimal time while assuring me not worry it will be handled. I love my Quincy Crew! Thanks All.

Use there ATM once and awhile. I messed up my pin machine ate my card. I call the manager he tells me come with an ID. I come with my i.d and they tell me I can't get my card. There ether messing with me or they stole my card. This has been a very inconvient and time consuming endeavor to get my card back Will not and do not recommend going here or using anyone of there amenities.

Hello Pat. In order to protect consumers from potentially unauthorized use of their ATM and debit cards, ATMs will retain a card inside the machine if the user enters the incorrect PIN several times in a row. This is standard practice for ATM terminals across the industry. If one of our ATMs retains a card that is not a Bank of Canton card, we securely destroy the card in accordance with industry practices and our security policy, as we are unable to validate and authenticate ownership of the card in our system. As a service-oriented community bank, we have the ability to make an exception when the card owner is physically present with a valid ID and we are able to contact a representative from the card-issuing bank to authenticate ownership of the card. However, in those limited instances, we can only return the card to the card owner. Since you were not present, and a different individual attempted to claim the card, we could not release it. We hope this helps to clarify our actions and our security policy.
