      I have been using Bank of Greene County for a couple years now. Branch locations are great but lending has become an issue. They some how manage to exceed normal loan turn around times and have become misleading. My current loan was processed and I was told loan amounts couldn't go higher because of the value. Once I added more value the amounts still couldn't increase because they were not willing to offer more on the deal. This would have been an acceptable answer instead of blaming it on the appraisal. DO NOT USE Ryan, ROACH and RYAN to close. over several loans they have proved to ask for more information even though they say they need nothing more. It has happened many many many times and right up to 1 hour before closing causing delays and confusion. On a residential level it took over a month to get an answer. Unacceptable. Shop rates, Wallkill and Sawyers are offering better at this point
