      I wish they did not have so many fees, but otherwise Bank of the West is so good at making things easy for their customers. The online portal is a breeze.

      Ghetto, indeed. As someone else here pointed out, this bank is very ghetto. Their fee for cashing their OWN checks is not $7 -- as someone else said -- but rather $7.50!!!! Unheard of. Also, many of the staff don't have a great customer service attitude. More importantly the "manager" Stefanie is quite uneducated and unprofessional, and on the exact same level as the tellers. So actually there is no "manager" available if there's ever a matter requiring judgment, knowledge, discretion, and/or professionalism. From reading the other reviews here, it appears the only good reason to go to this bank is if you are unable to speak any English. Otherwise, don't go here.
