  If you need an account with Bank Of The West Avoid online go straight to this location the Manger is the best he helped me with my problem even when my account was not open here Thank you Bruce .

  Only 1 branch in town, don't even try to reach them by phone, it refers to the 800 number and then cuts you off . The wait time there is over an hour where they then site technical difficulties and cut you off after holding for over an hour. Useless bank.

  I've had my checking with them for many yrs. Always had a nice balance so incurred no fees. One day this bank decides to revamp it account membership and did not grandfather in prior account members. They decided to offer only 2 kinds of checking accounts and both will gives fees: If you don't make a deposit any given month no matter what your balance you will incur a fee for banking with this company. Too busy with long work hours to go into bank. Well...the ATM is always down., and when I attempt to make Mobile Deposits, (every time!) The app will not recognize any check I try to deposit. So I mobile deposit my checks in my other bank. Real or imaginary issues for this bank not allowing me to make convenient deposits so they can keep charging this fee for not depositing monthly? The customer service inside and out is Super Slow...and still doesn't fix an issue that shouldn't exist in modern banking. They always have computer issues and that does not lead to my being confidant that my funds are secure at this Bank. No this is not normal. It's sneaky.
