Been a customer for about a year. Left one of the large banks after constantly being treated like a number and not a customer. I have had a great experience with State bank, thus far. I live on the Northshore and have used all three locations here. Never, have I had an incident or problem. The staff is always friendly and nice. I highly recommend. It is nice to do business at a place that knows who you are as soon as you walk into the door.

My husband was asked for a green card while making a deposit after we opened a joint account when it was not initially required to open our account. He was also not allowed to make a deposit without one because he wasn't able to produce the green card and fill out a deposit slip correctly. When he asked for help the clerk was rude. Not happy with this bank at all. Discrimination has been an issue for us.
