My previous bank in Carbondale IL had trouble putting money from my international travel card into my account. They made no extra efforts of any sort and I decided to check out Banterra. Carrie was super-efficient at opening my account. On the travel card problem, she told me they are themselves going through an IT reorg, because of which their own Visa machines weren't functional. Carrie promptly introduced me to the branch manager Mark. As the local executive authority, Mark spent over an hour talking with his HQ (I presume) to get the work done. It was copybook excellence in customer service. Can't thank both of them enough.
