      I love Bayfed and it's all because of the team that runs the branch. I hit a little bump in the road a few months ago and Frank who manages the branch was of tremendous help. Always welcoming and always positive. I love Bayfed!!

      This is a reverse bank robbery... Bayfed blocked my credit card payment without explanation, which triggered a bounced check fee from my CC issuer. I then attempted to transfer the funds from my mickey mouse Bayfed account into a fully functional one to make the CC payment. Bayfed's system returned the vague error "Recipient could not be verified. Please contact us or try again later." Looks like I'll need to withdraw my balance in cash to get the money out? Ironically I deposited cash with Bayfed in the first place out of convenience hoping I could then use it.

      Bay federal used to not nickel and dime you. Now its 5 dollar "maintenance" fees, over draft protection fees (where they charge $10 to move your money from your savings to your checking) I have direct deposit setup with my company and regardless of how much money us in my account I am still charged a monthly fee. Ill be cashing everything from now on and only putting money in when its something I absolutely cant pay with cash. Tired of the nickel and dime pony show with these banks.
