Worst service ever. My father passed away. He had a checking, a savings and an accident insurance with a loan protection on it with/through them. Had to visit the Bank more than 4 times to get oriented about procedures after his death and also got a threatening letter in the mail. They only backed off when we told them we had a probare lawyer. The accident insurance which would have paid $100k to the widow was cancelled because it was put on the auto pay from the savings account that had zero dollars when the checking account had $3k + on it, BUT NO ONE AT THE BANK ADVISED MY OLD MAN ABOUT IT!!! Terrible, terrible service. Also, when asked about the loan protection they said they would find out then on another visit said my mother had to call the insurance directly, so the insurance THEY offer their members they take no responsibility for it! And finally, absolutely no sympathy/empathy for a widow making her go multiple times to the bank to hand over the death certificate. And also, the bank account has a beneficiary which means it should be paid out to her but the loan has no co-signer, so the latter should go to probate but they’re holding on to the money in the bank account even though they shouldn’t because it has a beneficiary.

I love Bayport. The employees are always friendly and helpful. It wasn't busy when I went in, so my transaction was quick. They are operating under the current Covid restrictions.
