      I have had a BBT account for over 10+ years and move what i consider to be a sizable amount of money through my account monthly - certainly "sizable" is a relative term. This transition to "Truist" has been a train wreck. I'm an IT expert and it took me 45+ mins to figure out how to move to the new "app". My wife's account was closed because it had not had any activity in only 60 days bc she uses "our" account more often than her own personal account. It took us over a week to get things sorted and now this bank location is closing. Sonya (the GM) is never available and i dont think she has the authority or THE GUTS to tell the UPPER MGT that they are doing a TERRIBLE job in the company migration. A member of the team in that office told me all they do all day is "listen to upset customers". In this time, where the internet is King, it's SAD that in a small town the "big box" companies have taken over small business and we are ALL paying the PRICE for that. Do not waste your time at this branch or with BBT, Suntrust, Truist or whatever they may be calling themselves this week. No value added locally = no reason to stick around. Decade long relationships and trust down the drain...so goes the way of the world.
