      I put in an offer on a house after Ted told me, my real estate agent and the sellers I was "totally qualified". After paying for inspection and appraisal, turns out Ted has no idea what he's talking about. His solution? My parents could cosign. Ted's goal is to get you started on the path to closing, because that's where he gets paid. If it turns out later you really don't qualify, he leaves it up to you to figure out how to salvage the transaction. My only recourse was filing a complaint with the Commerce Department, which I have done.
