  I opened by account at blue hills bank in seaport couple of days ago and it was an exceptional experience. The staff were very attentive and listened carefully to my needs . They were not a product pushy and wanted to do what’s right for the customer . Definitely will recommend this branch to my family and friends

  Stopped in on my lunch because I work in the area & was excited to see there was a branch close by (opposed to having to travel to Hyde Park, which is the closest branch to me). In hopes of closing out my current passbook savings account and switching to a standard savings, in addition to opening a checking account. Went into the branch as a walk in (called about a week ago to ask if I needed an appointment, was informed no) and there was NO STAFF (no exaggeration) on the floor of entire branch. No one behind the teller desk, no one in customer service - very strange experience. After wandering around the branch, for about a minute looking to see if someone may be using the restroom, an employee appeared , frazzled and timidly greeted me, I explained to her what I wanted to do & she informed me to please come back tomorrow she does not have the ability to help me & they are 'short staff'. In my experience of working in a bank, it would be with integrity to take down the customers information (name, phone # etc) & advise a follow-up from someone who can assist or perhaps to arrange an appointment since no one is currently available. I have no issues with the bank itself, but this walk-in experience at this branch was very bizarre and off putting. Does not assure me in the least this won't happen again.

  Doesn’t work like a regular branch location. It’s for the upper class I guess.
