  Never had this much problems getting a loan. Wanted us to fill out a paper application and then they wanted us to do it online. But did not let us know that until we called to check on the status. They said we were approved but turns out that was only a pre approval. Had to send over more documents to finally get the real approval. They charged us 10.25% which the dealer said was high and we agreed. Anytime we would call them they just answered the phone with “Hello” which I think is unprofessional. Didn’t even know if I was calling an actual business. I get it everyone’s working from home due to COVID but at least answer your phone business like. The dealer is not even gonna use them for financing anymore as he has had other problems with them too. Be warned using them.

  BEWARE – This company is a complete scam. It is simply a front to gather leads of sub-prime borrowers to sell to other companies who market to people with poor credit. They have sales agents who falsely advertise on Craigslist and soon after you apply, your email will be bombarded with “payday” type loan solicitations. The sole communication you will receive from the company will be an email documenting their privacy policy which indicates they share your credit data, but you will NEVER hear anything about a boat loan. I have reported them to both the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Florida Attorney General office.

We are a direct lender and do not sell any data to payday companies. Boat Finance LLC is a member of the National Marine Lenders Association and National Marine Members Association which does extensive vetting prior to becoming a member you can refer to their websites for more information.
