I am a repeat customer of Box Home loans. I have done two refinances and one home purchase with them. I love that their website is clear and easy to navigate in showing the details of your loan. It is the most transparent mortgage quote process that I can find on the internet. And ultimately I've found them to be thousands of dollars cheaper than competitors. When purchasing my home (Spring 2022), I got quotes from about 4 other online quotes and all were a lot more expensive. Service wise I have no complaints. At no point in the process did I think there was a trade off of cost savings for customer service. I had a number of calls throughout the process and all were good interactions. A couple of small nits, just to show they are not perfect. One time a person I was trying to contact was out of the office, but didn't turn on an out of office reply on their email, so there was a day or two where I thought I was being ignored. Near the very end of the process they asked me to verify my employment. This could have been done many days earlier so I wouldn't have to do it at the last min. All that said, I won't hesitate to use them again.
