      Well sometimes things don't seem to go your way and sometimes their is a reason for it. I recently sold some property and as usual had a closing and got a check went to my bank (not bridgwater) and they wanted to hold this check. It was a larger check not lottery winner size but about 50k. I never thought a bank , especially one looking for customers , would act like they don't deal with their own checks. I'm sure they have a littany of excuses ready to go and maybe they could try acting like my money that they have is at least slightly important but no that wasn't the case. Needless to say if they ever handle your closing DEMAND cash. Then you won't get their "same as cash" worthless check.
