It was good at the beginning but during the process infrequent contact and responses and at the end even though we had no escrow a ridiculous escrow was added for 13 months of our homeowner insurance because our insurance was paid in full but due on May 30, 2021 when we closed on March 18, 2021. They said they had to do it because it was required apparently by Fannie Mae but I did research (I have a law degree from 1979) and did not find that to be the case. I asked for them to send me a copy of the regulation that required that and never got it. Brooke just quit responding. I did not know where the money was being held because I could not get an answer and finally learned it was sent to my insurance company when I emailed with the closing agent. I had already tried to just pay the insurance in advance to avoid the escrow and they would not take it. Now I am told they will just refund it to me so all a big waste of time with my money.

This is my second mortgage loan process with Wyndham Capital and specifically, Brooke Stevenson, within a year and, once again, an amazing experience! Brooke was just as wonderful and communicative as the first time and even took time out of her vacation to call me on my closing day to congratulate me and make sure everything went smoothly. You truly cannot ask for better customer service than that!
