Regretfully zero stars is not an option. My experience with CalCon/OneTrust Home Loans was incredibly disappointing. Our Mortgage Loan Originator, Marla McGee NMLS #1133114, was condescending and unprofessional to me, my wife and our realtor. She and her underwriting team knowingly provided incorrect forms and disclosures on multiple occasions and made changes to our loan without permission or prior notification. Had she not represented a preferred lender for our builder which gave significant discount, we would have gone to a new lender. She sent an email intended for a colleague when we pointed out her disclosure discrepancies so me referring to me as a “challenging” client. Despite pointing out the errors multiple times, she continued insist this was normal. Saying, “I know you’re new to this but this is normal.” If you get Marla, go somewhere else! You’ll save yourself a lot of headache.
