  “Bob has the years you are looking for, todays tech and old school principals.” I was the listing agent on a recent sale/closing (during covid and stay at home orders). Bob Baertlein with Capital Mortgage handled a relocation buyer who bought home virtually, and managed the entire process virtually. The process was seamless. All deadlines and details were masterfully tracked. He is clearly old school with today’s skills in technology. Many lenders today do not have the years experience Bob has which comes in handy for working through difficult challenging markets. 25 years myself, I saw this as a great asset. Bob kept me (as the listing agent which is not usual and customary) updated the entire time weekly by phone and email. He was spot on with every detail and even closed 1 day early. My seller and I are very grateful for the great attention to detail he demonstrated, his old school service and his policy of “Doing What is Right.” He also gave me great advice on a problem file I was experiencing with someone else and brainstormed options as well as was up to date on what banks were doing what types of loans during Covid. Lending is changing daily. It is imperative to work with the best old school lenders with technology training for todays market.
