  Rented a house managed by Capital Realty. First year was fine; tour and starting lease was straightforward. Only got one key at first and had to ask for a second. Never got one for the back door. Responded to repair requests quickly by referring them to vendors but usually without follow up. My main disappointment is the poor communication when the one year lease expired. No contact from anyone as the year mark approached. Ignored an email asking explicitly about renewing the lease. Instead got a call a couple months later informing of eviction due to the owner moving back in. I suspect they withheld information about the owner's intentions until shortly before the legally required 60-day notice period arrived. I wasn't at all impressed by how that was handled.

  Used to live at 221 n el camino in san mateo moved out due to maintenance guy who lived there. He seems sketchy and unhonest did not have a good vibe. Would not want him fixing something at my apt while I was not home. Plus he fixed something at my apartment and didn't even clean up the mess he made from the work he did super unprofessional he should be fired. I think him and his wife lived there both work there and do some maintenance. They should be fired.
