  Actively terrible company - extremely obtuse, doesn't pay home insurance on time (resulting in a loss of policy and additional paperwork/cost to reinstate it), genuinely awful to work with. Avoid.

  Zach Sanders gave terrible customer service & was very unprofessional. When I first spoke with him he was not friendly at all & only seemed interested in the facts. At the time I did not think we could afford the payments for the rate he quoted. We decided to shop around & compare & found a very kind person at another company who took an interest in our situation, asked a few more questions and showed us how we could afford great rates & save even more money. Five days after having contact with Zach he followed up with me. When I told him we decided to go through another company he had a temper tantrum via text! He started arguing that his rates were better & said things like "good luck... With a higher APR". He told me he hoped the new company gave as quick a response as he did & I laughed! It was five days later, but he made excuses. He was very intent on arguing with me and letting me know that his rates were better. When I told him it was the most immature & unprofessional exchange I had ever had with a mortgage company, he called ME immature. He pasted a 5-star reading he had received last week into the text thread as if that would prove he was mature & professional, but of course it revealed the opposite. He finally agreed that we weren't a good fit - which is what I had initially told him. Not sure why he felt need to throw a fit, argue with a potential customer & react so poorly. All he had to do was say "Thank you for letting me know, I hope you'll consider us in the future." Now, that will never happen. I hope Zach's supervisors have access to his text threads & I hope no one else has an experience like this. It pays to shop around!!!!
