      We stayed at Slow Tide in Kure Beach. The staff at Carolina Retreats were very responsive and accommodating. The property was very neat and clean and a short walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed the bikes as well. We only have two complaints about the property. One is the security cameras on the deck and covered porch area. We felt like we were constantly being watched while hanging outside. The second is the owner would not share the garage door code so entering the property required walking through the gate into the back yard and up the deck stairs.

The exterior cameras are only in use during the off-season for security purposes. We can assure you that the cameras are not live during guest stays and nobody is watching you.
