      I have had Carrington for about 5 years now without issue. I think most people who have issues with this company have their own money issues. Their process is very cut and dry, i highly recommend for first time home buyers.

      I have had a mortgage through Carrington for five years and have never missed a payment. Still, they call from different numbers to remind (harass) that a payment will be due soon. I have asked to opt out of the nuisance calls but they still continue. I’d go with a different lender if I could do it all over.

      They did not grant us refinancing or any grace when we fell on hard times due to layoff. 3 years after foreclosing they reported our foreclosure date incorrectly and now we are having difficulty buying a home because of the erroneous date. Do not go with this mortgage company. Impossible to get in contact with them or get good service.
