  Met this afternoon with Taylor-Ann Hamlin to discuss options for a checking account debit card that had a problem. She issued me a new debit card and remedied the problem. She is courteous, pleasant, and efficient. I've been a customer at Carrollton Bank for 30+ years and always receive excellent service.

  I am very disappointed in this bank!! I had a horrible experience there today and before.. I went today to withdrawal my taxes that I had been waiting for 8 months to get.. I was approached by the branch manager..He asked me where my money came from..I was alittle drawn back like huh.?excuse me.?It’s my tax fund..He then began to tell me that it looked like a scam and he was gonna put a hold on my money for 3 days.. I offered my tax prepares info and number.. I was very embarrassed and humiliated and informed him it even says in the irs website my money was direct deposited.. He then proceeded to call my tax rep..and still that was not good enough..he had her fax papers to him concerning my tax refund.. I was so in shock and how I was treated.. And I had promised my daughter a car that she wanted for her 16 b day.. They would only hold it til noon today..she was devastated… I was devastated too by this branch manger I believe his name is mark..I was so upset I didn’t even get his name.. He has did this to me before when I cashed a check..called me and questioned where the money came from and what such a big purchase was for.? I do not recommend this bank and will be moving my banking else where.. I feel like he was very out of line and singled me out.. He later called and apologized and told me I could come get my money.. Very unexceptable… This is clearly not somewhere i want to bank at anymore… I hope this helps anyone out looking to bank here.. I’m still in shock at the way this situation was handled..and wouldn’t wish this embarrassing and humiliating encounter on anyone.. And I’m still apologizing and soothing my daughter that couldn’t get her car because I was profiled and harassed,and like I said it’s not the first time..
